Building Stronger Risk Cultures: Understanding and Applying the Organisational Risk Culture Standard (ORCS)
18 February @ 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM UTC+10
| FreeOrganisational culture plays a critical role in how risk is perceived, communicated, and acted upon. Yet despite its importance, risk culture has historically been one of the least understood and least consistently measured elements of enterprise risk management. The Organisational Risk Culture Standard (ORCS) addresses this gap as a world-first, evidence-based framework designed to help organisations assess and strengthen their risk culture in a structured and actionable way.
Developed by leading experts in risk management and behavioural science, ORCS integrates governance principles, leadership behaviour, and human factors into a comprehensive model that enables organisations to:
- Diagnose cultural strengths and vulnerabilities
- Understand how behavioural patterns influence risk decisions
- Build capability and resilience across all levels of the enterprise.
In this webinar, ORCS Co-Authors Jack Jones and Dr Gavriel Schneider will provide an inside look at the development of the standard and discuss its practical application for organisations seeking to enhance risk intelligence and decision-making maturity. They will explore how ORCS aligns with global risk frameworks, supports more objective cultural assessments, and can be used alongside quantitative risk models such as FAIR to create a more holistic view of organisational risk posture.
The session will be moderated by Luke Bader, Director of Membership and Programs at the FAIR Institute, and will include discussion, insights from the authors, and live audience Q&A.
This webinar is ideal for executives, CISOs, CROs, risk leaders, governance professionals, and practitioners seeking to strengthen organisational culture as a strategic enabler of performance, resilience, and risk-informed decision making.
