Catherine is a seasoned scholar-practitioner specialising in business resilience encompassing crisis, emergency, disaster, security, business continuity, IT disaster recovery, and risk management. With extensive experience as a consultant and internal subject matter expert, she has held senior management roles in large organisations, leveraging her communication and problem-solving skills to enhance workplace safety. Catherine holds numerous tertiary and professional accreditations in organisational resilience, social psychology, and business management.

In her 15-year consultancy career, Catherine has served diverse industries, including education, oil and gas, iron ore, gold, petrochemicals, local government, manufacturing, NFPs, childcare, aged care, retirement living, accommodation villages, major event venues, public facilities, and mid/high-rise buildings. Her academic achievements include pursuing a Doctor of Public Safety, an Executive Master of Business Administration (eMBA), a Master of Emergency Management, and various diplomas and certificates in psychology, public safety, and security. Catherine is accredited by organisations such as AIIMS, BCI, APS, and holds goals to collaborate on projects addressing gaps in resilience, partner with professionals and organisations for comprehensive solutions, establish a trusted information network for IT disaster recovery and business continuity, and contribute to community associations through volunteering and mentoring.
