Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of major events, specifically the Protective Security Summit and the Protective Security in Government Conference.
• Support marketing and promotional activities related to the events, including digital marketing campaigns, social media management, and content creation.
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure event information is communicated effectively.
• Help manage registrations and attendee inquiries to ensure a smooth event experience.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of event strategies.
• Assist with post-event tasks including feedback collection and analysis to enhance future events.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled at a university, preferably in a related field such as Event Management, Marketing, Public Relations, or Business Administration.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
• Interest in the security and risk management industry is a plus.

Location

The internship will be conducted remotely, with occasional in-person meetings either at our office in Murarrie or Brisbane City.

Duration

The internship is set to commence immediately and will span a duration of three to six months.
