Microsoft 365 Support Engineer Intern

Risk 2 Solution Group is a leader in integrated risk management solutions, providing innovative and expert services to protect what counts. We are seeking a Microsoft 365 Support Engineer Intern to join our IT and Tech Support team for a 12-week program. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals, gaining hands-on experience and developing your skills in managing and supporting Microsoft 365 services.

Over the course of 12 weeks, the Microsoft 365 Support Engineer Intern will work under the mentorship of our IT and Tech Support Specialist, focusing on Microsoft 365 services and tools such as SharePoint, Teams, and Office Online. You will have the opportunity to learn and develop within the Microsoft Power Platform, contributing to the ongoing enhancement of our digital workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the support of Microsoft 365 services, particularly SharePoint, Teams, and Office Online.
  • Manage incoming support tickets, tracking, troubleshooting, and resolving issues using our support ticketing system.
  • Document IT procedures, user guides, and troubleshooting steps to improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the senior Microsoft 365 Engineer to deploy new team sites, features, and solutions.
  • Participate in regular IT team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of our Microsoft 365 environment.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or a recent graduate of a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft 365 services and their functionalities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • A keen interest in learning new technologies and a proactive approach to tasks.

Internship Details:

  • Location: Remote
  • Duration: 12 weeks, working 3-4 days a week
  • Compensation: This is an unpaid internship
  • Supervisor: Janita Zhang, Group Marketing & IT Manager
